Terms of service

The service

ampdIQ is field service software for home-service businesses: scheduling, dispatch, customers, quotes, invoices, payments, texting, an AI receptionist and marketing reports. Some features are still being built; anything marked “Coming soon” isn’t available yet.

Your account

You must be 18 or older and running a real business. Keep your sign-in secure. The owner is responsible for who they add to the account and what those people do in it.

Your data

Your business’s data belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run ampdIQ for you, as described in our privacy policy. You can download it from Settings at any time.

Calls, texts and the AI receptionist

You are responsible for having permission to text your customers, for following texting rules (including honoring STOP), and for any notice your state or your callers’ states require before a call is recorded. The AI receptionist takes messages; it never books jobs or quotes prices. AI summaries can be wrong, so check anything important.

Payments

Card payments run through Stripe. Your business is the merchant of record for every payment and has its own Stripe account under Stripe’s terms. Stripe’s processing and dispute fees apply, and ampdIQ adds a small platform fee on card payments, which is shown before you turn payments on. Refunds and chargebacks are between your business, your customer and Stripe. Cash, check and other payments you mark paid carry no ampdIQ fee.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly and can be canceled any time; you keep access until the end of the paid month. Free trials end on the date shown in the app. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice before raising your price.

Connected accounts

When you connect Google, Facebook or Instagram accounts, you confirm you’re allowed to manage them. Their own terms still apply. Ad spend is billed by Google or Meta directly to you, not by ampdIQ. If you hire Detcord Digital to run your marketing, that is a separate agreement and quote.

Fair use

Don’t use ampdIQ for spam, illegal activity, or to harass anyone, and don’t try to get into other businesses’ data or break the service. We can suspend accounts that do.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep ampdIQ running and accurate, but it is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee more calls, jobs or revenue. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it, and we aren’t liable for lost profits or indirect damages.

Ending

You can cancel any time from the app or by emailing us. We can end the service with 30 days’ notice, or right away for serious misuse. After an account closes, you have 30 days to download your data before it is deleted.

Michigan law

These terms are governed by Michigan law. We may update them; if a change matters, we’ll tell you before it takes effect. Questions: info@ampdiq.com.
